Dr. Lee’s formal education and training are second to none. He completed his undergraduate studies with Bachelor Degree in Microbiology from University of Florida in 2001. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2006. Dr. Young S. Lee, who was born in Seoul, South Korea and raised in Gainesville, FL, chose Orlando, FL as the home for his new practice, Elegantly Dental.
His professional dental industry memberships include the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. He is trained in all aspects of dentistry and which allows him to stay on the cutting edge of dental advances and technology. He is passionate about cosmetic dentistry and “Life Changing Dentistry”. He believes that a person having a healthy and beautiful smile is important, but a person knowing what a beautiful smile will do for him/her is more motivating and rewarding.
He knows that there are a lot of individuals who are afraid to come to the dentist due to pain. For that reason his training in dentistry started a year before he started dental school. At the University of Florida College of Dentistry, he was involved in pain research that studied the psychological and hormonal factors that affected the intensity of pain. With this unique background, Dr. Young Lee emphasizes in minimizing dental anxiety by setting a pleasant environment and by paying particular attention to the personal comfort of the individual.
Dr Young S. Lee is fluent in Korean as well.
